Its very important to recognise that not just any coloured light will have the potential benefits of the REGENR8.
The REGENR8 unit produces bright PULSED light that has been shown to have specific advantages in stimulating cells over continuous light, allowing high intensity whilst minimising undesirable thermal effects.
Additionally there is growing evidence supporting the idea that specifically chosen stimulation frequencies are beneficial for affecting cells, and useful for specific conditions. The pulses produced by this unit are created using a precision oscillator and a computer that counts these precise clock pulses so that the frequencies are always produced to a very high level of accuracy. The duty cycle of the pulse, being the ratio of the time the LED is on to the time it is off, is carefully controlled so that the waveform always contains a rich and full spectrum of harmonic frequencies, as harmonic content is reported to play an important part in the effectiveness of frequency-energy based devices. This allows you to tune your LLLT system to be most effective.
The REGENR8 unit also comes with two different LED panels, a red/orange and a blue/green for application with different types of conditions and areas of the body. The red deep penetration lamp has two red wavelengths at 620nm (orange red) and 660nm (deep red), and the blue lamp has both 445nm (blue) and 520nm (green). These multiple wavelengths have been intentionally chosen to maximize the absorption spread in your tissue. The blue light has the highest energy but is absorbed near the surface and by structural proteins such as collagen, green is highly absorbed by surface blood vessels, orange/red penetrates below the skin into the muscle and flesh and deep red goes even further into the bone.
We have engineered the REGENR8 based on years of research to very specific parameters and specifications which make it superior in every way to most low level light therapy (LLLT) systems. We wanted the average person to have this marvellous technology available to them in their own home. To date we are not aware of ANY pulsed photobiomodulation system of even equivalent performance.
